A whole house renovation  achieving a transitional "Hawaiiana" plantation feel was the goal. Exterior renovations include replacing the tile roof and exposing the rafters by removing the stucco soffits and adding brackets. Smooth Venetian plaster combined with wood siding, expanded rear Lanais, a sweeping spiral staircase, detailed columns, balustrade, all new doors, windows and shutters, and updating the original pool with a spa and all new landscaping help achieve the desired effect. On the pool level, a new floor plan and reclaiming crawl space added 350 sq ft. for an additional bedroom suite and a new pool bathroom. On the main level a new floor plan, vaulted ceilings opened up the great room, kitchen, and master suite. Two small bedrooms were combined into a fourth suite and an office was added. Traditional built-in cabinetry and moldings complete the look. The interior design included all kitchen, bathroom vanity, entertainment, laundry, closet, and study custom built-in cabinetry, as well as, bathroom tile design, hardware, fixture, material finishes, interior trim and color selections. All indoor and outdoor furniture, artwork and accessories selection were all part of the final plan. See the video below.
